New Mexico, Albuquerque, Gunfight in Old Town Albuquerque

Melody Groves is president of the Southwest Writers Club of Albuquerque.  But, two Sundays a month, her day job is gunslinger.  Not too surprising as her genre is The Old West.

If you get to Old Town Albuquerque and are spoiling for a gunfight, mosey on over to the Rattlesnake Museum at the corner of the square.

Muleskinner and friend.

Oh My! You once wrote about beards and I have to say this: You flatter that beard! But, try as you may, you look like a writer- not a cowboy. Love it!

As we say here in the Bay Area, “Fear the Beard”!

Uh, which one of them ornery skunks is Mule Skinner and which is the mule? Thanks for spending a couple days with us in Albuquerque. Happy trails!
